Cinnamon Date Blizantines
Made with Saratoga Peanut Butter Co.’s white chocolate Blizzard Butter, these cookies are the perfect treat after a long day. They’re sweet with a hint of cinnamon and have the creamy, delicious flavor of white chocolate in each bite. The edges come out crispy and this cookie is perfect for dunking in milk, coffee or hot cocoa.
- 1 c. Blizzard Butter (white chocolate peanut butter)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. chopped dates.
Preheat oven to 350* F. With a mixer, combine the egg and sugar. Beat until it turns lemon-yellow, them add vanilla. Beat in the Blizzard Butter.
In another bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Slowly beat in to form a stiff dough. Either by had or with a mixer, add the dates. The dough will be crumble-y.
Press the dough into a tbsp measuring spoon and then drop onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes, then let cool on the pan for two. Transfer to a rack to finish cooking, then enjoy!
