Primal Strips Hot & Spicy Shiitake Mushroom

I was so excited to try the Primal Strips Hot& Spicy flavor, made with a base of shiitake mushrooms instead of wheat gluten or soy protein. I was anticipating a burst of mushroom flavor with an after burn, but I was very disappointed when I actually tried it.

The texture was like a fruit leather and it tasted like salt. Well, to be more specific, salty fruit leather. I didn’t enjoy it at all and I gave the rest to my friend Jenna to try. She spit it out.

I love the rest of the Primal flavors, but this one just doesn’t work for me.
