Yogi Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut Tea
I’m a huge fan of all things vanilla so Yogi Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut tea was right up my alley. Here are the ingredients:
It’s a herbal tea (caffeine free) that leaves you feeling perfectly satisfied after a meal.
The Taste:
The most prevalent taste was the cinnamon, followed by the black pepper and cloves. Those flavors are so strong they overwhelmed any vanilla or hazelnut essence. It tasted more like a chai tea, which isn’t a bad thing especially if you love chai!
The Texture:
The mouth feel was rich (Most teas with carob, barley or chicory are like this!) but my first bag did leave sediment on the bottom. My second try was much better, rendering just a little “dust”.
The Nutrition:
Herbal tea is so good for you! This tea contained 1861 mg of herbs, full of delicious and free-radical fighting tannins.
They say:
- Fragrance of vanilla (disagree)
- Taste of roasted hazelnut (so-so)
- Velvety carob (agree!)
- Cinnamon, Cardamom, Ginger and Cloves add warmth (agree!)
