Questions and Answers…
The cast is on 4 weeks.
I need to take an Aleve twice a day, wrap, and ice my right ankle.
I’m going to an ankle specialist for PT after the cast is off.
Okay! Clear. After a day of stressing out and freaking out I found some answers.
I went to the Y in the morning, just to get a feel for it and see how it would work. I tried 30 minutes on this:
30 minutes later and I wanted to jump off a bridge. This is going to be interesting…The arm bike is the single most boring piece of equipment in the world, and about as similar to running as golf is to BMX biking. The weights are good, I can’t move them myself though, I need someone to bring hand weights to the mat. So I meet the arm bike again tomorrow morning, as I made a 9:00 appointment with the contraption. UGG.
For breakfast I was craving a PB&JayRobb, and it was just as amazing as I envisioned.
Most of the day was spent hanging out at Aunt Di’s… we went out to lunch at salad creations
I had a chopped baby mix and spinach salad with red onions, chickpeas, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, sprouts, and tomatoes. The dressing was the ginger sesame… it was so delicious!!
At Aunt Di’s Maggie and I sampled PB-covered double chocolate organic Oreos. J
Dinner was a super delicious wrap with hummus mixed with adobo sauce, mustard, tomato paste, fresh basil, and salmon. The veggies were red pepper strips and spring greens, in a grilled rye wrap.
For dessert I had one of the latest versions of breakfast cookies… banana pistachio! So yummy!!! And an orange…
